Crypto IP

IKV-Tech provides a number of silicon-proven Cryptography IP solutions including symmertric and asymmetric cryptographic algorithms, hash engines and reconfigurable algorithms devised to resist side-channel attack.

The Advanced Encryption Standard (AES) is a symmetric cryptographic algorithm widely used to encrypt data, established by the U.S. National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST).

IKV-Tech provides AES crypto IPs with 128-bit, 192-bit, and 256-bit key sizes. The encryption modes include ECB, CBC, CFB (1-bit, 8-bit and 128-bit), OFB, CTR.

Elliptic-curve cryptography (ECC) is an approach to public-key cryptography based on the algebraic structure of elliptic curves over finite fields. Elliptic curves are applicable to key agreement, digital signatures, pseudo-random generators and other tasks. Indirectly, they can be used for encryption by combining the key agreement with a symmetric encryption scheme.

IKV provides ECC crypto IPs including ECDH (Elliptic-curve Diffie–Hellman) used for key agreement and ECDSA (Elliptic Curve Digital Signature Algorithm) used for digital signature.

A hash function can be used to map data of arbitrary size to fixed-size values. The values returned by a hash function are called hash values, hash codes, digests, or simply hashes. It ensures the integrity of data and is widely used in blockchain applications, mobile transaction, verification, etc.

IKV-Tech provides SHA-2 (Secure Hash Algorithm 2) and SHA-3 (Secure Hash Algorithm 3) crypto IPs.
